The only compliant solution

There are many "workarounds" circulating online. Most violate Stripe's Terms of Service and risk permanent account closure and funds being held. Here's the honest comparison:

Direct Stripe sign-up
Blocked in your country
Third-party account sharing
TOS violation — funds can be seized
Unverified 'workaround' services
High risk of account closure
US LLC through HynoGo
Legal, compliant, recommended

How to get Stripe as a non-resident — 4 steps

The US LLC method is 100% legal, fully compliant with Stripe's Terms of Service, and used by thousands of entrepreneurs from restricted countries worldwide.

01

Form a US LLC

Register in Wyoming or Delaware. Takes 2 business days. 100% remote — no travel required.

02

Get your EIN

“I tried everything to get Stripe in Nigeria — including shady workarounds that got my account suspended. HynoGo formed my Wyoming LLC and I'm now on Stripe legitimately, processing USD payments every day. Should have done this years ago.”

Frequently asked questions

Why is Stripe not available in my country?

Stripe evaluates market readiness based on regulatory frameworks, banking infrastructure, fraud risk, and commercial demand. Countries where these factors don't yet meet Stripe's threshold are excluded from direct merchant sign-up. As of 2026, Stripe supports around 50 countries directly.

Is it legal for non-residents to use Stripe through a US LLC?

Yes, completely legal. Non-US residents can legally own and operate US LLCs — there is no citizenship or residency requirement. Applying for Stripe as the legal owner of a US LLC is applying as the US business entity you own. You must declare yourself as beneficial owner during Stripe's verification, which is required and fully supported.

Which countries are blocked from Stripe?

As of 2026, Stripe is unavailable as a direct merchant in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, many other African nations, and most of the Middle East (excluding UAE). The full list changes as Stripe expands — check stripe.com/global for the current supported countries.

Can I just use a friend's Stripe account?

No. Using someone else's Stripe account violates Stripe's Terms of Service and can result in funds being held or permanently withheld. It also exposes you and your friend to fraud risk and liability. The LLC route is the only compliant path.

How long does the whole process take?

US LLC formation takes 2 business days. EIN registration takes 2–3 business days. Stripe application review typically takes 1–5 business days after submission. Total: most HynoGo clients are Stripe-active within 7–14 days of placing their order.

Do I need a US bank account for Stripe payouts?

You need a bank account in a country Stripe supports for payouts. Wise Business and Mercury both work with non-resident US LLC owners and support Stripe payout connections. HynoGo includes guidance for both in every package.

What if Stripe rejects my LLC application?

Stripe rejection is usually due to documentation gaps, high-risk business category, or website quality issues. HynoGo's consultancy covers proper documentation preparation to maximise approval. We help you address any rejections and resubmit with corrected materials.
